Biography:

Registered Cavalier county. Born, Calvin, N. Dak., Nov. 14, 1895, of Swedish-Swiss parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Langdon on June 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to July 13, 1918; Battery D, 337th Field Artillery, to death. Overseas from Aug. 17, 1918, to death.
