The State Treasurer is an elected constitutional officer who serves North Dakota as part of the executive branch of state government. Serving a four-year term, the Treasurer and her staff receive, reconcile and disburse all state money and special government funds.  They provide a “checks and balances” system for all state agencies on a daily basis, offering updated cash flow entries and sound financial practices.
