Real Estate & UCC Statement (UCC-3A)

The instructions for filing a UCC-3A form are the same as for the UCC-3 except for the following:

• In addition to referring to the original UCC-1A file number, the initial financing statement recorded document number, book number and page number must be identified.
• There has been a specific box added to indicate that this document is being used for purposed of filing a satisfaction. Both termination and satisfaction may be marked when completing this form for these purposes.
• The amendment, continuation, and termination must be filed in the same office as the initial filing.
• Either the North Dakota Real Estate and UCC Filing UCC-3A (SFN 17830) (37kb pdf) or the National UCC Financing Statement Amendment form may be used.
