Adult Corrections: Transitional Facilities

Tompkins Rehabilitation and Corrections Center

Essential Property that can go with Offender on Transport:

  1. 1 wristwatch
  2. 1 ring
  3. 1 Religious symbol necklace (total of jewelry must be under $100 excluding a wedding ring.)
  4. 1 religious book (example: Bible)
  5. Reasonable amount of legal material
  6. 10 small pictures
  7. Medication
  8. Eye glasses or corrective lenses and necessary supplies (Saline, contact case)
  9. Money
  10. Identification
  11. Three sets of undergarments*
  12. Three sets of clothes (includes shirt, pants and shoes) *
  13. Essential toiletry items(includes shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, and feminine products)*

*These items apply to offenders moving to a DOCR contract facility including BTC, TRCC, and Centre Inc.

TRCC/CRRP/TASC Property Allowance

CLOTHING:

  1. 1 Bathrobe/pair of pajamas
  2. 2 Belts
  3. 12 Briefs, Boxers, Panties, Bras (any combo)
  4. 3 Caps/visors, and/or, hats (any combo)
  5. 1 Gloves
  6. 1 Pr Scarves
  7. 2 Jackets/Coats (1 lined, 1unlined)
  8. 7 Outfits total Pants/Jeans/Sweats/Skirts/Shorts(any combo) Shirts/sweaters/sweatshirts
  9. 7 T-shirts (including white undershirts) (any combo)
  10. 3 pr Shoes/Boots/tennis shoes, sandals (any combo)
  11. 3 pr Shorts, gym or leisure
  12. 1 pr shower shoes
  13. 7 pr socks
  14. 1 Dress

*********Clothing will not have any inappropriate language, Expressions, drug/alcohol/tobacco related printing, etc.

ELECTRONICS:

  1. 1 Alarm Clocks (with no radio, cassette or CD player)
  2. 1 AC/DC adapter (excludes those that come with appliances)
  3. 1 Electric razor
  4. 1 pr Head phones (any combo)
  5. 1 Lamp (book-lite or clip-on)
  6. 1 Personal radio/walkman/CD player
  7. 1 Small fan

*********No stereos especially those with detachable speakers

JEWELRY:

  1. 1 Necklace
  2. 1 Ring (wedding or favorite)
  3. 1 Watch
  4. 1 per piercing (Tongue rings, earrings, body piercings)

  14. 5 at admission Personal letters/cards (Limit of one shoebox full throughout program period)
