November is Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience Month

Bismarck, ND -November is Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience Month. NDDES has committed to participate in Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience Month to help build awareness of the importance of securing our Nation's critical infrastructure.
Critical infrastructure provides the essential services that underpin our society and sustain our way of life such as the power we use in our homes, the water we drink, the transportation that moves us, the bridges that connect us and the communication systems we rely on to stay in touch with friends and family. Today, the security and resilience of critical infrastructure is challenged by threats as varied as severe weather events like Super Storm Sandy, potential physical attacks like some we have seen overseas, and cyber incidents that could cause disruptions in service. Just as we all rely on critical infrastructure, we all play a role in keeping it strong, secure, and resilient.
