      • Review and complete parts 2 & 3 (below) before completing the online form.  You will need to upload these files to complete the online form.
    • Part 2 – Attachment: Program of Work

      • Non-CTE Center – Contracted through a school.

    • Part 3 – Attachment: Licensed Personnel Record/MIS03 for the 2023-24 School Year Example

 

  • 2023-24 Year-End Narrative (Due May 31, 2024) 

    • Part 1 - Complete the Year-End Narrative Online Form. You will need the following documentation to complete the form:

      1. Highlights from your Career Development program's activities this year.
      2. Recommendations from your program's advisory committee and how they will be incorporated into your Program of Work.
    • Part 2 - Provide the following documentation to your Business Manager, they will need to submit these items directly into the Budget Reimbursement Process (BRP) system by May 31, 2024:

      1. Completed Program Advisory Committee Form - SFN 15256
      2. Fall Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes
      3. Spring Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes
      4. Travel Expense Report
      5. Your signed Teaching Contract (for school year 2022-23, used to verify your salary amount.)

Century Code Related to Career Development

NDCC 15.1-21-18.3 states, “Each school district shall notify its high school students that, upon request, a student is entitled to receive a consultative review of the student’s individual high school education plan at least once during each high school grade. Upon the request of a student, the school district shall provide the consultative review.” (Fall Report)

NDCC 15.1-21-18.1 states, "A school district shall administer to students, once during their enrollment in grade seven or eight and once during their enrollment in grade nine or ten, a career interest inventory recommended by the Department of Career and Technical Education and approved by the Superintendent of Public Instruction.” (Spring Report)

NDCC 15.1-21-18.2 states, “At least once during the seventh or eighth grade, each school district shall arrange for students to participate in either an individual consultative process or a nine-week course, for the purpose of discussing the results of their career interest inventory, selecting high school courses appropriate to their educational pursuits and career interests, and developing individual high school education plans. This reporting is done at the individual student level.” (Spring Report)

NDCC 15.1-21-19.2 states, “The student’s career advisor or guidance counselor shall meet with the student to review the student’s ACT or WorkKeys assessment results.” (Spring Report)
