Registered Stutsman county. Born, Jamestown, N. Dak., April 3, 1896, of American parents. Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Jamestown on June 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to July 13, 1918; Company D, 339th Machine Gun Battalion, to death. Overseas from Aug. 14, 1918, to death.
