Biography:

Registered Richland county. Born, Vesta, Nebr., Dec. 16, 1886, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Wahpeton on June 23, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 14th Company, 163rd Depot Brigade, to July 14, 1918; Company L, 352nd Infantry, to death.
