Registered Williams county. Born, Cobb, Wis., Feb. 18, 1890, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Sherbrooke on May 25, 1918. Sent to Camp Lewis, Wash. Served in 7th Company, 2nd Battalion, 166th Depot Brigade, to June 17, 1918; Supply Company, 157th Infantry, to Sept. 12, 1918; 6th Detachment, Depot Division, to Oct. 2, 1918; Company C, 322nd Infantry, to death. Overseas from Aug. 7, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensive: Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sector: St. Die (Lorraine).
