Registered Sargent county. Born, Liberty, Wis., Oct. 29, 1892, of American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Forman on April 29, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to May 25, 1918; Headquarters Company, 313th Engineer Train, to death. Overseas from Aug. 16, 1918, to death. Engagement: Defensive Sector: Center (Alsace).
