Registered Bowman county. Born, Lanark, Ill., May 2, 1896, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Enlisted at Jefferson Barracks, Mo., on Aug. 2, 1917. Served in Company L, 59th Infantry, to death. Overseas from May 5, 1918, to death. Engagement: Offensive: Aisne-Marne.
