Served in Battery E, 338th Field Artillery, to April 1, 1918; Company K, 326th Infantry, to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, Jan. 10, 1918. Oversesa from April 29, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensives: St. Mihiel; Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sectors: Lucey and Marbache (Lorraine).
