Registered Foster county. Born, Blanchard, N. Dak., Jan. 14, 1896, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Carrington on June 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to July 13, 1918; Company H, 352nd Infantry, to death. Overseas from Aug. 16, 1918, to death. Engagement: Defensive Sector: Center (Alsace).
