Biography:

Registered Burke county. Born, Cushing, Wis., Sept. 26, 1895, of Danish parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Bowbells on April 29, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to (date not given); Headquarters Company, 350th Infantry, to May 16, 1918; Company H, 357th Infantry, to death. Overseas from June 20, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensive: St. Mihiel. Defensive Sectors: Puvenelle and Villers-en-Haye (Lorraine).
