Served in Company M, 2nd Infantry, North Dakota National Guard, to Oct. 5, 1917; Medical Detachment, 164th Ambulance Company, 116th Sanitary Train, to death. Grade: Corporal, Jan. 18, 1918. Overseas from Dec. 11, 1917, to death.
