Served in Company M, 352nd Infantry, to Nov. 29, 1917; Company L, 347th Infantry, to March 1, 1918; Headquarters Company, 347th Infantry, to June 10, 1918; June Automatic Replacement Draft, to July 8, 1918; Company M, 163rd Infantry, to July 24, 1918; Company E, 38th Infantry, to death. Overseas from June 20, 1918, to death. Engagements: Defensive: Champagne-Marne. Offensives: Aisne-Marne; St. Mihiel; Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sector: Vesle (Champagne).
