Registered Cass county. Born, Kindred, N. Dak., Sept. 19, 1894, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - carpenter. Inducted at Fargo on April 28, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to (date not given); Battery D, 338th Field Artillery, to May 15, 1918; Company B, 344th Machine Gun Battalion, to death. Overseas from June 21, 1918, to death.
