Registered Ward county. Born, Oldham, S. Dak., Oct. 31, 1895, of American parents. Occupation - carpenter. Inducted at Minot on June 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to July 6, 1918; Battery A, 339th Field Artillery, to death. Overseas from Aug. 24, 1918, to death.
