Registered Brown county, S. Dak. Born, Brittin, S. Dak., May 22, 1898, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Aberdeen, S. Dak., on July 12, 1918. Sent to Jefferson Barracks, Mo. Served in Battery B, 14th Battalion, 5th Regiment Field Artillary Replacement Depot, Camp Zachary Taylor, Ky., to death.
