Registered Ransom county. Born, Gibson, Ill., Feb. 3, 1896, of American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Lisbon on July 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 24th Company, 6th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 20, 1918; Headquarters Company, 41st Field Artillery, to death. Grade: Cook, Sept. 13, 1918.
