Served in Company I, 352nd Infantry, to Nov. 28, 1917; Company K, 348th Infantry, to June 11, 1918; Camp Pike Replacement Draft, to July 27, 1918; Company H, 23rd Infantry, to death. Overseas from June 22, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensives: St. Mihiel; Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sectors: Limey and Marbache (Lorraine).
