Biography:

Registered Wells county. Born, Brooten, Minn., May 10, 1888, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Fessenden on Aug. 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 16th Company, 4th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Sept. 13, 1918; Company E, 14th Ammunition Train, to death.
