Registered Griggs county. Born, Lake Mills, Iowa, June 4, 1896, of American-Norwegian parents. Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Cooperstown on Feb. 23, 1918. Sent to Camp Lewis, Wash. Served in Company E, 319th Engineers, to death. Overseas from Sept. 25, 1918, to June 18, 1919.
