Registered McLean county. Born, Parkston, S. Dak., June 20, 1891, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Washburn on July 21, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 40th Company, 10th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 14, 1918; Company D, 78th Infantry, to Sept. 23, 1918; Company B, Military Police, 14th Division, to death.
