Registered Mountrail county. Born, Grand Forks, N. Dak., Nov. 8, 1892, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Grand Forks on May 27, 1918. Sent to Camp Lewis Wash. Served in 23rd Company, 6th Battalion, 166th Depot Brigade, to June 18, 1918; Company K, 158th Infantry, to Sept. 10, 1918; Company F, 128th Infantry, to death. Overseas from Aug. 11, 1918, to death. **The Official Roster of North Dakota Soldiers, Sailors and Marines list the name as Knut Jorgenson.
