Served in Battery D, 338th Field Artillery, to May 17, 1918; Company E, 358th Infantry, to death. Overseas from June 20, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensives: St. Mihiel; Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sectors: Villers-en-Haye and Puvenelle (Lorraine).
