Registered Ward county. Born, Franklin, Minn., Sept. 28, 1892, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Minot on Sept. 18, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Battery C, 338th Field Artillery, to death.
