Sent to Camp Lewis, Wash. Served in 63rd Company, 166th Depot Brigade, to Nov. 7, 1917; Company I, 163rd Infantry, to March 12, 1918; Machine Gun Company, 127th Infantry, to death. Overseas from Dec. 15, 1917, to death. Engagements: Offensives: Aisne-Marne; Oise-Aisne; Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sectors: Center (Alsace); Fismes (Champagne).
