Served in Battery A, 338th Field Artillery, to April 1, 1918; Battery B, 321st Field Artillery, to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, Jan. 15, 1918. Overseas from May 19, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensives: St. Mihiel; Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sector: Marbache (Lorraine).
