Registered Foster county. Born, Hope, N. Dak., Nov. 13, 1889, of American parents. Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Carrington on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 40th Company, 10th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 29, 1918; Machine Gun Company, 78th Infantry, to death.
