Biography:

Registered Richland county. Bor, Walcott, N. Dak., Dec. 3, 1893, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Wahpeton on March 29, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Company F, 2nd Battalion, 163rd Depot Brigade, to April 23, 1918; Company L, 137th Infantry, to death. Overseas from May 3, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensive: Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sectors: Gerardmer (Alsace); Grange-le-Comte (Lorraine).
