Registered McKenzie county. Born, Dunnville, Wis., April 2, 1893, of American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Schafer on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 10th Company, 3rd Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 14, 1918; Supply Company, 77th Infantry, to death. Grade: Wagoner, Sept. 1, 1918.
