Served in 16th Company, 4th Battalion, 166th Depot Brigade, to June 20, 1918; Company E, 362nd Infantry, to July 4, 1918; Company D, Depot Battalion, Camp Merritt, N. J., to July 19, 1918; Company I, 321st Infantry, to death. Overseas from July 31, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensive: Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sector: St. Die (Lorraine).
