Registered Golden Valley county. Born, Cumberland, Wis., Aug. 21, 1892, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Beach on June 14, 1918. Sent to North Dakota Agricultural College. Served in Students Army Training Corps, to Aug. 13, 1918; Company D, 335th Infantry, to death. Overseas from Sept. 4, 1918, to death.
