Not a registrant, under age. Born, Fordville, N. Dak., Sept., 1897, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - unknown. Enlisted at Fort Logan, Colo., on Jan. 17, 1918. Served in 5th Recruit Company, Fort Logan, Colo., to Feb. 2, 1918; Casual Company No. 1236, Signal Corps, to March 23, 1918; Company G, 30th Infantry, to death. Overseas from April 2, 1918, to death. Wounded, gassed, Aug. 10, 1918. Engagements: Offensives: Aisne-Marne; St. Mihiel; Meuse-Argonne. Defensive: Campagne-Marne. Defensive Sectors: Vesle and Chateau-Thierry (Champagne).
