Registered Ramsey county. Born, Milton, N. Dak., Sept. 8, 1895, of Norwegian-American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Devils Lake on June 24, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to July 18, 1918; Company L, 352nd Infantry, to death. Overseas from Aug. 16, 1918, to death. Engagement: Defensive Sector: Center (Alsace).
