Not a registrant, enlisted prior. Born, Tolna, N. Dak., May 15, 1898, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - student. Enlisted in 176th Battalion, Canadian Infantry, on May 24, 1916. Later transferred to 46th Battalion, Canadian Infantry. Engagements: Hill No. 70; Paschendaele.
