Registered Mountrail county. Born, Bruno, Nebr., Jan. 8, 1896, of Bohemian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Stanley on June 14, 1918. Sent to North Dakota Agricultural College. Served in Students Army Training Corps, to Aug. 13, 1918; Company B, 210th Engineers, to death.
