Registered Stutsman county. Born, Centre City, Minn., March 9, 1888, of American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Jamestown on Sept. 18, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Battery E, 338th Field Artillery, to death.
