Registered Chouteau county, Mont. Born, Hamlet, Ind., Jan. 4, 1896, of Canadian-American parents. Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Fort Benton, Mont., on July 25, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Company No. 62, 163rd Depot Brigade, to Aug. 18, 1918; Company H, 335th Infantry, to death. Overseas from Sept. 3, 1918, to death.
