Registered Williams county. Born, Northwood, N. Dak., May 18, 1892, of American parents. Occupation - cashier. Inducted at Williston on April 29, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Headquarters Detachment, 163rd Artillery Brigade, Camp Dodge, Iowa, to June 26, 1918; Company D, Development Battalion No. 1, to death.
