Biography:

Not a registrant. Born, Valley City, D. T., Oct. 21, 1889, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - mining engineer. Appointed from civil life and called into active duty as a 1st Lieutenant, on Nov. 27, 1917. Assigned to 38th Infantry, to death. Principal stations: Camp Greene, N. C.; Camp Merritt, N. J.; AEF. Overseas from March 30, 1918, to death. Engagements: Defensive: Aisne. Defensive Sector: Chateau-Thierry (Champagne).
