Biography:

Registered LaMoure county. Born, Mount Carroll, Ill., Nov. 16, 1895, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at LaMoure on April 2, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to April 20, 1918; Company H, 138th Infantry, to death. Overseas from May 2, 1918, to death.
