Biography:

Registered Foster county. Born, North Manchester, Ind., Sept. 3, 1892, of American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Cando on June 23, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to July 13, 1918; Company L, 352nd Infantry, to death. Overseas from Aug. 16, 1918, to death. Engagement: Defensive Sector: Center (Alsace).
