Registered Williams county. Born, Hamar, Norway, Nov. 10, 1893. Declarant citizen. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Williston on April 29, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to (date not given); Company F, 350th Infantry, to May 16, 1918; Company L, 360th Infantry, to death. Overseas from July 6, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensives: Meuse-Argonne; St. Mihiel. Defensive Sectors: Villers-en-Haye and Puvenelle (Lorraine).
