Served in Company K, 352nd Infantry, to Nov. 28, 1917; Company M, 348th Infantry, to April 14, 1918; Company E, 39th Infantry, to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, June 17, 1918. Overseas from May 10, 1918, to death. Engagement: Offensive: Aisne-Marne. Wounded, about Aug. 5, 1918.
