Registered McKenzie county. Born, Leeds, N. Dak., April 23, 1892, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Schafer on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 10th Company, 3rd Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 20, 1918; 14th Trench Mortar Battery, Camp Custer, Mich., to death.
