Registered Cass county. Born, Fargo, N. Dak., Sept. 18, 1895, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - shipping clerk. Inducted at Fargo on June 15, 1918. Sent to North Dakota Agricultural College. Served in Training Detachment, to Aug. 13, 1918; Headquarters Company, 137th Field Artillery, to death. Overseas from Oct. 6, 1918, to death.
