Registered Ward county. Born, Minneapolis, Minn., May 26, 1893, of American parents. Occupation - railroad clerk. Inducted at Minot on April 29, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to June 12, 1918; Company I, 350th Infantry, to July 29, 1918; Headquarters Company, 350th Infantry, to death. Grade: Corporal, Aug. 5, 1918. Overseas from Aug. 15, 1918, to death. Engagement: Defensive Sector: Center (Alsace).
