Registered Bottineau county. Born, Trondhjem, Norway, June 19, 1892. Naturalized citizen. Occupation - student. Inducted at Bottineau on Sept. 18, 1917; Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 5th Company, 338th Machine Gun Battalion, to Nov. 24, 1917; Company F, 4th Battalion, 20th Engineers, to death. Overseas from Jan. 4, 1918, to death.
